Payment made to the Association is for your voluntary membership with the Arkansas Bar Association, and has no affiliation with your state licensing fee. All dues and subscriptions are non-refundable.
Terms of Membership
Membership in the ArkBar runs from July 1 to June 30. Please note that we send reminder notices as renewal time approaches. However, your prompt payment of dues will ensure that you continue to receive all of your benefits in a timely manner. Should your membership lapse, you may reactivate it at any time by becoming current on your dues for the year.
Annual Auto-Renewal
If you select Annual Auto-Renewal, your dues (including the sections, FAL and sustaining contributions you select) will automatically renew annually on July 1. PAC and Instant Membership are excluded. You will receive a notice before the next year’s auto-renewal. New Admittee Year 3 rates will automatically increase to Standard but you may choose to select another dues category.
Monthly AutoPay
Members now have the option of making payments monthly with Monthly AutoPay; each monthly payment must be paid with a credit or debit card; no other forms of payment can be accepted. The annual cost of your membership will be divided equally across 12 months. Members who sign up for Monthly AutoPay agree to pay for the entire year. If you register for Monthly AutoPay online before July 1, you will immediately be charged for your first monthly payment for the 2022-2023 bar year (July). Your card will not be charged again until your August payment is due on August 1. Your card will be charged on the first of the month, or the first business day thereafter. If you sign up after July 1, your card will initially be charged for the July payment. On the first of the following month, your card will be charged for the cumulative amount that would have been due between August and the month you signed up for Monthly AutoPay.
